Victor is a former boxer whose career was cut short by a bad blow, so he turned to other minor jobs. Now he works as a caregiver in a nursing home and struggles to make ends meet while living at his mother Marisol's house. Everything changes when Luna, his eight-year-old daughter, discovers on the web that her father was a famous fighter, and she decides to initiate Victor's return to the ring to face his longtime rival "El Toro." On the arduous journey, Nacho, his coworker, Monica, a nurse at the nursing home, Jorge, an elderly resident whom he cares for, Cecilia, Luna's mother, and the rest of the family will help Victor regain belief in himself and fulfill his dreams of returning to the ring.
